What is a Roofing Advisor?

A roofing advisor is one of the most important roles at RoofX. As the first face a potential customer will see and the first human interaction they will have, you will play a HUGE role in shaping their experience with our company. You will be responsible for managing your leads, qualifying and disqualifying potential clients based on scope of work, educating potential customers on the products we install and why we install them, protecting our brand and reputation and ultimately helping potential customers see that RoofX is the best solution for them. All training, technology and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

You are ultimately responsible for assisting our customers through the buying process in person. Outside of that, there are other responsibilities. You are required to practice and train on a daily basis as well as build a personal online profile and presence that positions you and RoofX as trusted advisors.

  • Manage your leads, qualify & disqualify based on scope of work.

  • Meet with potential clients to assess their roofing needs, answer their questions, and provide them with a detailed estimate of the cost and timeline for their roofing project.

  • Assist potential customers in understanding the products we install and why we install them.

  • Assist potential customers in deciding if RoofX the right choice for them.

  • Be knowledgeable of and inform customers about product upgrades and different warranties.

  • Assist customers through optional financing and flexible payment plan options.

  • Follow up with potential clients to ensure that they have all the information they need and to address any concerns they may have.

  • Work closely with our production team to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, including answering phone calls and emails promptly, being friendly and professional in all interactions, and going above and beyond to ensure that our clients are satisfied with their experience.

  • Self generate leads through networking, individual brand building, canvassing, social media, etc.

  • Develop relationships, referrals and positive reviews.

Requirements

  • Roofing / construction experience is a huge plus but we have all the training and resources you need to be successful without this prerequisite and it is NOT required.

  • Sales experience is a huge plus but again, we have all the training and resources you need to be successful without this prerequisite and it is NOT required.

  • Must be of sound personal character and a positive representation of the values of our company listed above. Also, the ability to pass a drug test is required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential clients and work collaboratively with our production team.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously.

  • Good computer / technology skills and proficiency with using software and CRM’s.

  • Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record.

Compensation

Compensation is based on skills and experience and will range from $100k-$300k and above. Uncapped earning potential. Ongoing professional development.
